How to get to the Alpe di Siusi – discover the best routes by car, train or plane!

The Dolomites Living Hotel Tirler is located directly on the Alpe di Siusi, in the heart of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Dolomites – sunny, peaceful and easily accessible year-round. Arrival by car is via Siusi/Castelrotto–Compatsch; our hotel guests receive a special access permit, allowing them to drive directly to the hotel at any time on the day of arrival and departure. During the stay, the regulated access hours of the Alpe di Siusi apply, as the high plateau is a protected low-traffic area.

For guests arriving by train, plane or shuttle, we are happy to arrange a direct transfer. EV charging stations are available directly in the garage of the hotel, ensuring a comfortable and sustainable arrival on the Alpe di Siusi.

By car

The Seiser Alm  is truly unique because traffic within this protected landscape is strictly regulated. Our hotel guests receive the required access permit by e-mail, allowing them to reach Hotel Tirler and our garage without any time restrictions on the day of arrival and departure. During the stay, access to the Alpe di Siusi is possible within the designated time windows.

Arrival from the south:
Take the Bolzano North motorway exit, continue via Blumau and Siusi up to the Alpe di Siusi Compatsch/Saltria, then directly to the hotel.

Arrival from the north:
Take the Klausen motorway exit, continue south via Waidbruck up to the Alpe di Siusi Compatsch/Saltria and directly into our hotel garage.

By train or plane

Arrival by train
For a comfortable and eco-friendly journey, you can easily travel by train to Bolzano, Brixen or Klausen. From any of these stations, continuing to the Alpe di Siusi is straightforward and convenient.

Arrival by plane
The nearest airports are located in Bolzano, Innsbruck, Verona, Munich, Treviso and Bergamo.

Simply let us know your arrival time – we will be happy to arrange a comfortable taxi transfer directly to the Alpe di Siusi or, upon request, even a helicopter transfer.
